God of Wonders

Psalm 145: 2-21:

Every day I will bless You,

And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;

And His greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another,

And shall declare Your mighty acts.

I will meditate on the glorious splendour of Your majesty,

and on Your wondrous works.

The Greatest Gift

Dear friends,

Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

What is Christmas?  As far as I am concerned, Christmas is not about merry making but remembering the greatest love gift God gave in order to save us. Continue reading »

FOCUS on HIM

As we listen and worship God through these songs, let the Spirit of God lift our spirits up from whatever situations we may be in (our difficulties, trials, worries about tomorrow) and as in Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”  May God’s peace floods our souls.

Let’s FOCUS on:

Overcomers through Christ

Whatever situation you may be in now – in the ‘valley of sorrows’, at the crossroad of life, doubts about your identity and purpose on earth, facing sickness etc.  GOD knows.

He knew us before we were born – Psalm 139:14-16 (NKJV):

  • I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvellous are Your works.  And that my soul knows very well.

  • My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

  • Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Jeremiah 29:11(NKJV):  You were created for a plan and purpose –

  • For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

John 10:10 (NJKV):

  • The thief (satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I (Lord Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Lord Jesus gives us abundant life (“Zoe” – extraordinary life) but satan comes to steal, kill and destroy our lives, whatever God meant good for us.

Lord Jesus has empowered us to rise above what is coming against us so that we become overcomers. He paid the price for our lives on the cross, He sets us free from the bondage of sin.

May this be our heart cry to know God more and make Him known.

Specially Made – Part 1

If ever you feel insignificant, or worthless – Remember that God has created you for a purpose:

In fact He planned our earthly existence before we were born.

He cares specifically about each of us.

We are not born by accident.

He made us unique, one of a kind.

Overcoming the spirit of Fear

A day goes by without we hearing ‘bad news’ and for some,  encountering insurmountable challenges.  Fear may have a grip on us – will my business thrived?   How to safeguard my wealth against thefts?  How to maintain good health and not fall sick?

Whatever our fears may be – we have forgotten the authority God has given to us who believe on Him.  The problems we faced may seem so big, unique and impossible to overcome – the more we speak of it, the bigger it becomes, apparently we fall into the devil’s trap and intimidation.

Meditations for Women Part 1

Meditations for Women Part 1

Acronym for WOMEN

Do not allow the circumstances around us to governed us.. daily dependent upon the Holy Spirit to lead us through.

We are thankful that God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.

We lived in an ‘instant’ world and at times its difficult for us to wait upon the Lord.  It is in waiting on Him we gain the strength and peace to live in this world.

  • We are comforted to be a comforter to someone.
  • We are blessed to be a blessing to others.
  • We are admonished to do good.

Whatever tasks we undertake, do it whole-heartedly as unto the Lord.  Even though men may not acknowledge our good deeds yet rest assured that God looks at our hearts.  “Sow what you want to reap.”
