Meditation – Our Identity in Christ – Part I

Have you ever wonder about our true identity?
Why are we so precious to God?
How much are we worth?

In God’s eyes we are priceless, unique cause His divine imprint is in us.

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, “Let Us make man in our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

When man chose to sin, he was separated from a Holy God.

In order to reconcile us back to God, Lord Jesus came on earth to laid down His life for us. At the cross, a divine exchange took place – He took all my sins, sickness, curses and we received His righteousness and Spiritual blessings. He died in order we can live. He rose again from the dead so that our faith in Him is not in vain. He overcome the power of death.

Revelation 1:18b (NASB version) – I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and hades.

Isaiah 53: 4-5 (NASB version)
Surely our griefs He himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.
But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.

Today is the day of salvation – if you have not received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour – would you accept Him today – He came to set you free.

Romans 10: 8-10 (NASB version)
But what does it say? “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;

for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

For the Scripture says, “whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

If you decide you accept the Lord Jesus into your heart and life, please use this simple prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending Your Son to die for me. I believe that Jesus died for me and took all my sins and sicknesses. I believe He rose again and right now I confess that He is my Lord and Saviour.
I thank you that now I am Your child and I am privileged to be able to called you
“Abba” (father) as in

John 1:12-13 – But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Thank you for this eternal life.
In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
