“Who am I?”

▪ A NEW CREATION – 2 Corinthians 5:16-17
1. You are a new creation – when you accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life – the Spirit of God dwells within you.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God – 1Corinthians 2:12 [NKJV – New King James Version].

There is no change in the physical body but the inner man or your spirit man is created anew. Your spirit is like God, carrying His life and power. The natural man does not understand (1 Corinthians 2:14) it is received by your spirt. Renewal of your mind is through the Word of God ( God’s Word is spirit and life) as you read, meditate and apply it, transformation will take place. To know God’s truth you need the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13-14 – However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (NJKV).

Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for the divine exchange that took place at the cross – even though Lord Jesus is perfect yet He took all our sins, sicknesses and curses at the cross. His righteousness became our righteousness, His blessings became our blessings. Through Christ’s death we are ‘bridged’ – no longer separated from You.

Thank you Lord Jesus for sacrificing Your life so that we can be set free from the power of sin and death. Right now we have the privilege of saying that greater is Lord Jesus who is in us than he [devil] who is in the world. All glory and honour to Almighty God.
