This picture depict a very dark period in my life, till Jesus Christ my Lord came to redeem me, the dark soul, to see the Light of Jesus.I started being downtrodden in darkness but Jesus cleansed and transformed me to the current ME, praising the Lord in a white garment.He gives me life, hope and a future.All praises and glory to the Lord.
Believe and call upon the name of Jesus.
Breakthrough, Breakthrough, oh where is the breakthrough I am looking for?
My head was heavy, my shoulder drooped, my eyes were downcast and heavy with tears.
My dark past kept haunting me, like the squish mud that stuck to my feet, ever glad to pull me back to the doldrum and kept me there.
Out of my deep despair and utter hopelessness, I whispered: “Who can help me? Is there a God who hears my cries of help?”
Then came a voice from above: “My child, I love you, you are not alone. You are my beloved and I am always with you.”
“I sent my Son Jesus to die for you on the cross, but HE rose again and conquered death, despair, hopelessness and all attacks from the dark side.”
“With His blood, HE redeemed you from darkness into Light.With His blood, He washed away every filth from you, your sins are forgiven and HE make you white as snow.”
“Follow me and I will make you fisher of men and you shall do great pursuits in My Name.”
I wiped away all my tears and leapt with Joy.With outstretched hands I sing praises to His name for I am the Lord’s beloved.I am no longer walking in darkness, I am forever basking in HIS LIGHT.
Verse:John 8:12 NKJV – Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world.He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, have the light of life.”
“Sister Sheba was diagnosed with 3rd stage cancer. Day by day she grew weaker and thinner and was wheelchair bound. She was brought to the healing service in Singapore by a friend. After prayer, driven by her faith in God, got up from her wheelchair and started walking. She felt the fire of The Holy Spirit upon her and believed that by Jesus stripes she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). During Eddy’s sharing on the glory and healing power of our Lord Jesus she was so full of joy praising God. Faith honours God and God honours faith.
We do not know what the day will behold? In the case of Eddy – after his meeting one particular morning, he would adjourned for lunch, but this time at this restaurant, he was approached by a sister to share the Gospel with a particular person. Without hesitation he shared how he personally came to know The Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour and how important He is to him.
The day passes by like any other day. Today I (Eddy Yong) was having a drink with a friend in Nirvana curry house when my Pastor friend John, brought brother Daniel to see me. Daniel (who had diabetes) related that six months ago he had a stroke whilst driving, lost control and the vehicle plunged into a ravine three stores high. Fortunately by God’s grace, he was thrown out of the car, suffered back injuries, concussion and the water level in his head is not normal causing his hands to tremble and his left side of his body was weak. The Doctors were unable to fix the problem and concluded that its incurable.
But he believed that the Lord Jesus will heal him and asked to be prayed for. Immediately after prayer the back pains is gone, his hands no longer shaking and he felt he is ‘level-headed’. His healing was instantaneous. Truly our God is a miracle working God, full of grace, compassion and love. To God be the glory. Amen.
Yes, He does – He’s the same, yesterday, today and forever more (Hebrews 13:8) and those who came to Him were healed.
David’s Healing Testimony
Towards the end of last year (December) I was experiencing dizziness, shortness of breath and uneasy feelings. At the hospital I had a MRI scan done on my brain – no issue. On probing further (through Xray) discovered that I’m suffering from a cervical 5/6 disc degenerated (Xray). The doctor mentioned it will cause numbness in the hands and fingers.
Since I won’t be able to concentrate on my work I have opted for 3 months sabbatical leave.
It is then Eddy came and prayed for me. Praise the Lord! I don’t have this dizziness and uneasy feelings anymore… I am healed.
“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.” (Psalm 30:2 – ESV)
I am privileged to share a testimony of a friend whom God has healed and he has written a booklet on his experiences, in the light that it may encouraged others who are battling with cancer now.
And all will see, how great, how great is our God!
I am here to tell you how true this song, “How great is our God!” is of our Living God whom we worship, admire and believe. How the God who knows our inmost being, who created us in our mother’s womb, has a purpose for each and every one of our lives. How He never let go of His loved ones, nor forsakes you or I when bad things happen to us. Indeed, when we choose to believe in Jesus, His son who was sent into this world to die on the cross for us, we are saved. For by His blood, we are cleansed from all unrighteousness and by His stripes we are healed!
God’s gave towards me unfolded on the 1st day of Chinese New Year on 23 January 2012. It began after our Chinese New Year family reunion lunch with my mum at my sister Helen’s place, when in the middle of that night, I felt excruciating pain in my abdomen and had to keep going to the toilet. At first, I thought I was having my usual gastric attack which brings with it a pain that runs either to the right or left, can be very sharp and makes me feverish; or at most, a tummy upset caused by contaminated water. So, I did what has always worked for me when I am struck with the first – I applied medicated oil, take a panadol and an antacid, and said a prayer. By the grace of God, He has made me a tough person, and I am someone who can usually withstand pain to a reasonable degree. But this time was different.
All through the night and until the next day, despite applying all types of medicated oil on my tummy, taking medicines which I vomited out within half an hour, passing “loose stools”, and praying continuously, the excruciating pain would not subside. I felt weak, giddy and breathless. In the afternoon, when I could not bear it anymore, I told my husband that I needed to be admitted to the hospital. We sped to the hospital, with my son Bryan panicking at the wheel because of my groans, but managing to follow the directions my husband was giving him. My niece, Serena, accompanied me in the back seat … it was indeed a blessing to have her with me.
Once I had been attended to and my condition stabilized, I decided to stay overnight for observation even though most of the doctors were on leave as it was Chinese New Year. In my heart, I prayed that God would send me a good doctor. After a blood test, medication and being put on the drip, I no longer felt giddy, but the pain from the middle of my abdomen suddenly moved to and increased on my right side. The Doctor called for an immediate ultrasound and it was there that they discovered multiple stones and a big 3.17cm stone in my gall bladder. I was given antibiotics and panadol as I had a fever and my blood was slightly infected.
I was scheduled for an operation the next day by another specialist surgeon. Though doubtful and fearful, God reassured me that He is God, He’s in control because He created me and has the power to use the surgeon for His glory. That evening, the surgeon briefed to me the risks and methods of the operation. I prayed to God to take control and committed the surgeon into His holy hands. I asked God to guide and give Him wisdom to make the correct decisions, and to give him good health.
With many of the other surgeons being on leave, my surgeon had to covered their work – so was in and out of the operation theatre the whole day. I had to wait in queue. Finally, I was operated on in the mid-afternoon and it took about three hours. I came out with a four inch wound. I was shocked to hear from the surgeon that the 3.17cm stone was stuck in my cystic duct, and without the operation I may not have survived! Oh, how I praise God for saving me and giving me the chance to share this testimony about Him, so that others may also know our true, living and great God to whom none other can compare!
As I recuperate at home, I can’t stop thanking God for His many blessings, goodness and grace upon my family and loved ones. I thank God for preserving my life so that I can continue to serve Him with joy and good health, and for enabling me to feel His presence and know His guidance, every steep of my life.

I would like to give God all the glory, majesty, honor, praises and thanks, for only He deserves it! I believe we serve a risen Saviour who is still with us today. He truly is Emmanuel, God with us! To Him alone be all glory, majesty, honor, power, authority, dominion and praise!
