Does the above question resonate with you?
You are not alone.
Are you going through some challenges or situations that brings no solutions to your predicament?
You may cry but the problem is still there… it seems so hopeless.
You may find comfort in friends but its only for a moment. Perhaps you may drown your sorrows by watching movies, drinking or smoking your health away…etc. Blaming others doesn’t help either, gradually you may even turn inwards – self-pity, depression sets in. You really need help.
At times, a good ‘Samaritan’ may come along and offer you physical help but what you really need is that inner strength to carry on in life. Picture the scene of a toddler learning to walk, he falls and cry but he gets up and walk again – a persistent effort that eventually pays off – he finally walks on his own.
Do you at this juncture – ponder why at the last resort many turn to God in desperation?
Somehow emotionally and spiritually, we know that God has the answer and we hope that he will be able to change the situation. God knows everything about us, even before we were born.
Out of desperation we call upon Him, sharing all our burdens and cares. Do you know that His word promises that “casting all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you” and also “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” [1 Peter 5:7, Jeremiah 33:3]
Persistent prayer and faith will help you gain that inner strength to carry on and He will make a way for you.
The answer to your prayer may not be what you may so desire but out of it all, that connection with the Invisible powerful God you will see that God can and will reverse things if you put your trust in Him alone, you will see the ‘light at the end of our tunnel.’ Nothing is impossible with the almighty God.
