Eddy Yong, from HRM (Healingrooms Ministry), Malaysia shared about an incident of a man named Mishael who was robbed, severely beaten up by robbers and suffered head injuries.

He was admitted to the hospital and after 3 x-rays, the doctors in the ICU unit confirmed that his brain was dead.  Since he could not survive, they wanted to pull out the life supporting system so that he would pass away peacefully.

Eddy and Mary (Mishael’s mother) pleaded with the doctor to give Mishael a chance to live one day at a time.  Meantime, they prayed everyday against all complications that may aggravate his condition – high brain pressure, fever, phlegm in the lungs, lungs failure and brain haemorrhage.  On the 9th day, the 4th x-ray was taken – lo and behold! Mishael has a new functioning brain!  The Lord is merciful and graceful in answering their prayers.  On top of that the Lord has ‘downloaded’ all of his memories back into this new brain.  Praise the Lord!

Imagine the overwhelming joy of a mother on hearing the news and how thankful to God for saving her son.  The following verses best described her ordeal.

Psalm 18:6 : In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help.  From his temple He heard my voice; my cry came before Him, into His ears.

Psalm 66:19-20:  but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.  Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!

Mishael was later sent to the Sungai Buloh Rehabilitation centre under the care of Dr Kavitha.

Although the Lord Jesus has restored Mishael’s brain yet there was excess fluid in his brain.  As such, he needed an operation to drain this.  During the WCDC (World Christian Doctors Conference, held in KL, Malaysia) on the 17th of May, 2015, they gathered together to pray for him that he would not undergo this operation and that our Lord Jesus will remove the excess fluid from his brain. Recently Eddy received the latest news pertaining to Mishael’s condition.  His operation was due on the 14th of July, so he checked into the hospital a day early for the necessary hospital procedures.  On examining, the doctors were astonished to discover that there is no excess fluid in his brain – it was already drained out. They said “there is no way it can occur unless his brain is punctured and the fluid flowed out through the punctured hole.” As such, the operation was called off, as all the readings pertaining to his brain reads normal.

Its definitely incredible and supernatural – no doctor can repair a brain-dead patient nor can they remove excess fluid in the brain except through an operation.  Even though Mishael’s healing occur in two stages yet we give God all the glory –  He is in control and does things in His time.  Halleluyah, praise Yahweh. Amen.
