Prioritize Prayer

Prioritize Prayer

  • In everyday situations, do we seek God in prayer before embarking in a project, plan or decisions?
  • Do we seek God only when facing insurmountable challenges?
  • Do we make plans and expect God to endorsed it with His blessings?

Hindrances to answered prayer

Praying amiss

Our prayers should be in alignment to God’s will and not having wrong motives.  We need to be sensitive to the guidance and leadings of the Holy Spirit, as we read and study God’s word.

James 4:3 – You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

1 John 5:14-15 – And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

God is more powerful than cancer

God is more powerful than cancer

“Sister Sheba was diagnosed with 3rd stage cancer.  Day by day she grew weaker and thinner and was wheelchair bound.  She was brought to the healing service in Singapore by a friend.  After prayer, driven by her faith in God, got up from her wheelchair and started walking.   She felt the fire of The Holy Spirit upon her and believed that by Jesus stripes she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).  During Eddy’s sharing on the glory and healing power of our Lord Jesus she was so full of joy praising God.  Faith honours God and God honours faith.

“Reach the unreachable, touch the untouchable”

Have you ever experienced the Lord moving you in an unusual way?  Our team mate, Eddy from The Healing Rooms did.

"Reach the unreachable, touch the untouchable"

One day he and his friends had lunch at the Oriental Pavilion and they brought along a sister, named Jessie.  Apparently since childhood days she had encounters with the demonic spirits and they were tormenting her.

Divine Encounter

Divine Encounter with the Living God

We do not know what the day will behold?  In the case of Eddy – after his meeting one particular morning, he would adjourned for lunch, but this time at this restaurant, he was approached by a sister to share the Gospel with a particular person.  Without hesitation he shared how he personally came to know The Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour and how important He is to him.

God’s Divine Appointment

God's Divine Appointment

The day passes by like any other day.  Today I (Eddy Yong)  was having a drink with a friend in Nirvana curry house when my Pastor friend John, brought brother Daniel to see me.  Daniel (who had diabetes) related that six months ago he had a stroke whilst driving, lost control and the vehicle plunged into a ravine three stores high.  Fortunately by God’s grace, he was thrown out of the car, suffered back injuries, concussion and the water level in his head is not normal causing his hands to tremble and his left side of his body was weak. The Doctors were unable to fix the problem and concluded that its incurable.

But he believed that the Lord Jesus will heal him and asked to be prayed for. Immediately after prayer the back pains is gone, his hands no longer shaking and he felt he is ‘level-headed’.  His healing was instantaneous.  Truly our God is a miracle working God, full of grace, compassion and love.  To God be the glory.  Amen.

Does our TONGUE need healing?

The tongue is a small part of the body hidden in the mouth and capable of causing much harm if left unchecked.  The doctor will examine our tongue to detect the state of our health before he makes his diagnosis and prescribe medicine to remedy the situation. What affects us physically, simultaneously so does spiritually. Continue reading »

Prayer of Faith – Testimony (2)

Prayer of Faith - Testimony (2)

The following pictures were taken to glorify God for healing, at Sister Sow Leng’s request.

During one of Eddy Yong’s  (from HRM International) recent visit to pray for the sick, Sister Sow Leng was suffering from Leukaemia and had breathing difficulties.  She needed to put on the oxygen mask to breathe.

After prayer, she felt a burning sensation and took off the oxygen mask and said that she can breathe easily.  Praise the Lord!

Her eldest daughter who was a non-believer accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.

To God be the glory. Amen.

As in Acts 16:31 – “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
